The committee consisted of pro-MUNers who have shown exceptional leadership potentials and motivational spirit in organizing last year's conference.
Samiha Sahel - President (2016-17)
As a curious freshman back in 2015, MUN was an ECA that engaged her attention real quick. After that, before she could even realize, it had become the most favorite ECA and the knowledge she gained through this is immense. Gradually, having grown such passion towards MUN and the club, a regular club member turned into a Director of Delegate Affairs and eventually made the way up to being the President of the club for the term of 2016-17. Being the Secretary-General of AUWNMUN'17, she thoroughly enjoyed the experience of succeeding in providing the participants with a conference that is to be remembered and worth reminiscing. This would never have been possible without the arduous effort from the whole secretariat team! However, as much as she was ecstatic to be able to contribute to the club, it was certainly not easy to complete the term and come out successful in one piece. With sheer optimism, she earnestly hope the current displeasing MUN circuit will drift away from the disgraceful practices as delegate/ executive board trading, giving biased judgements, making business out of it and will rather stick to the actual component of MUN that is letting the participants experience the priceless enjoyment one can gain from understanding diplomacy, learning mechanisms of global politics and generating innovative ways to address the problems. Once that is checked off the list, she believes everyone will be able to rise up as learned intellectuals to actually to go out there and make a difference. "Together, we can!"

Mahpara Mashiat - Vice President (2016-17)
Mahpara is of class 2018 and is majoring in Environmental Sciences. She had won several awards due to her passion for MUNing leading to her being elected as the VP where she also served as the Deputy Sec-Gen of AUWNMUN 2017.
Inshirah Ali - Secretary (2016-17)
The journey as the Secretary of AUWMUNC will always be memorable to her for many reasons. It has given her the chance to contribute a little to that club which is very close to her heart. Being the EB member of the club was not an easy job. Because their former EBs had set a level and they had to maintain the quality or make it better. The journey was full of excitement, challenges and of course they got to learn a lot throughout the journey. Though they had to face a lot of ups and downs, in return they got tons of beautiful moments and experiences which she will cherish forever. Good wishes to Asian University Model United Nations Club. May this club reach the highest peak of success. Will Always be proud to be a part of this.
Hosai Barakzay - Treasurer (2016-17)
Hosai is of Class 2018 and is majoring in Philosophy, Politics and Economics, from Afghanistan. She had started her MUN journey in 2014 and has successfully chaired for many conferences both nationally and abroad. She has also won awards resulting to her being elected as the treasurer of the club, where she also held the position of USG of Delegate Affairs for AUWNMUN 2017.
Sakinat Atraba Brinta - Public Relations (2016-17)
Brinta is a graduating batch of 2018 and is majoring in Economics and has a minor in Chinese. She is fluent in many languages, including Mandarin and has been the genius behind the "Delegate of I" series - the inspiration and predecessor to our ISL. She has had served as the PR head of the MUN Club and was also the USG of Hospitality. She has also participated as a delegate and been an Editor-In-Chief for IP.
